Hospice / End-of-Life

Comfort at Every Step

We at West Seattle Adult Family Home understand how deeply personal it is to walk with a loved one through their final chapter. Our Hospice and End-of-Life care services are designed to provide comfort, dignity, and peace — not just for the resident, but for the entire family.

Whether your loved one is already living with us or is joining our home during this stage, our role is to create a supportive environment where every moment matters.

When Care Needs Change

It’s not uncommon for a resident receiving regular care — perhaps for Alzheimer’s, a chronic illness, or progressive decline — to eventually require hospice support. When that time comes, our team is prepared.

We work closely with hospice providers to ensure seamless transitions in care.
Our focus remains on comfort, reducing discomfort, and making sure both the resident and family feel fully supported during this time.

We provide:

  • Coordination with certified hospice agencies
  • Compassionate, around-the-clock personal care
  • Medication management and symptom monitoring
  • Soothing surroundings that feel like home
  • Support for spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs
  • Guidance for families to help navigate this difficult time

Whether it’s sitting quietly by a bedside, adjusting a pillow, or helping you arrange a video call with loved ones far away, we’re here to honor this sacred time.

Supportive Hospice Care Within Your Reach

Dignity, comfort, and compassion of your loved one are our highest priorities—especially at life's final stages. To ensure these crucial services are within financial reach, we gladly accept residents enrolled in CalAIM and the Master Care senior care health programs, offering compassionate end-of-life care without unnecessary financial stress. Additionally, we’re currently awaiting approval for California’s Assisted Living Waiver, aiming to make quality hospice care even more accessible to those who need it most.

Let us guide you through your options and support your family during this important time.
